Sunday Jan 26 (8 AM - 5:30 PM) Defensive Handgun Level 1 - $160
This class is highly recommended for anyone who carries a concealed handgun or anyone interested in carrying a concealed handgun.
This class is for the individual who has an understanding of firearms safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship. While we will review these topics, this is not a basic marksmanship class. Some of the topics covered will include:

A review of marksmanship fundamentals
Firearms safety in a dynamic environment
The defensive drawstroke
Defensive shooting fundamentals
Multiple threats
Human anatomy and shot placement
Basics of movement
Assessing the scene
Proper use of cover and concealment

Saturday February 22 (3 PM - Midnight) Low Light Tactics - $160

According to FBI statistics more than half of all defensive shootings occur in low light environments. This course is designed to develop the skills needed to safely and effectively identify and engage deadly threats in a low light environment. This is not a basic shooting class. All students must be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, and the ability to safely draw and reholster a weapon. Anyone failing to meet these prerequisites will not be allowed to participate in the low light, live fire portion of this class. Some of the topics covered include:

Safety considerations in low light
How the eye works at night
Selecting the Proper equipment
Employing a handheld flashlight in conjunction with a handgun
Overview of weapons mounted flashlight and safety considerations
Using a flashlight and light to temporarily control a threat
Engaging deadly threats while using a flashlight
Movement and search considerations in a low light environment
Cover and concealment in low light
An introduction to night vision, lasers, and thermal devices


Sunday March 8 (8 AM - 5:30 PM) Defensive Revolver - $160

There is a common misconception that a revolver is easier to shoot than a semiautomatic pistol. To shoot a revolver effectively and efficiently requires a change to your shooting fundamentals and tactics. This class is designed for those who carry a revolver as a primary or backup weapon, or anyone who desires to learn the skills to shoot a revolver well. Also, learning to smoothly and effectively manipulate the longer and harder pull of a revolver trigger will translate into a more effective trigger pull on your semiautomatic pistol. Some of the topics covered in this class are:

Revolver grips and trigger manipulation in addition to other fundamentals
Firearms safety in a dynamic environment
Revolver carry options and the proper drawstroke from different carry options
Defensive shooting fundamentals
Tactical loading a revolver
Types of malfunctions with a revolver and how to correct them

Sunday April 26 (8 AM - 5:30 PM) Close Quarters Handgun Level 1 - $160
According to FBI statistics over half of defensive shootings take place between 1 and 5 feet.  Our traditional shooting stance and position are ineffective at these distances. This class is designed to give you the skills to effectively defend your firearm and engage threats at these distances.
This is not a basic shooting class. All students must be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, and the ability to safely draw and reholster a weapon. Anyone failing to meet these prerequisites will not be allowed to participate in the live fire portion of this class. While some hand to hand skills will be taught in this class, this class is designed to allow participation no matter what your level of health. Some of topics covered in this class are:

The defensive draw-stroke
Defensive shooting at distances from contact to 5 yards
Defending against gun grabs

Sunday May 10 (8 AM - 5:30 PM) Defensive Shotgun Level 1 - $160
The shotgun is arguably the most versatile and misunderstood of all self defense weapons. This class will teach you to maximize the shotgun as a defensive weapon in a violent encounter and dispel the fallacies surrounding it. Some of the topics of this class include:

Sunday May 24 (8 AM - 5:30 PM) - Defensive Handgun Level 2 - $160
This course is the 2nd course in the Defensive Handgun series. Anyone interested in this course must have taken Defensive Handgun Level 1 or a similar course from a qualified and reputable instructor (please contact me to discuss your qualifications.) The morning starts with a review of the skills learned in Defensive Handgun Level 1 and then builds upon and continues to hone those skills.  Some of topics covered include:

Staying in the fight and winning
Shooting on the move

Sunday June 28 (9 AM - 6 PM) Tactical Emergency Casualty Care - $160
You carry a gun to defend yourself and those you love. Do you have the skills to save them in a medical emergency? You are twice as likely to use your medical skills to save your life or the life of someone you love as to use your firearm to defend yourself. This class exceeds the requirements for a first responder, as set forth by the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care in June 2018. Some of topics covered include:

Evaluating the scene
Personal protection considerations
Understanding and applying the MARCH-E and ABCDE acronyms
Use of tourniquets, hemostatic agents, and pressure dressings to control bleeding
Assessing, establishing, and maintaining an airway in patient
Diagnosing and treating respiratory emergencies
Assessing and treating chest and abdominal trauma
Assessing and treating spinal and head injuries
The different types of shock and treatment
Understanding, assessing, and treating pelvic girdle trauma

Sunday July 26 (9 AM - 5 PM) Glock Maintenance Course - $160
This course is designed to give you the skill and knowledge to maintain and keep your Glock pistol in good working order. You will completely break down your Glock pistol, examine parts for wear and potential failure, clean, and reassemble. You will learn how the pistol operates and about common Glock pistol failures and how to fix them. We will examine several aftermarket parts and their value. We will also look at how you can improve the function and action of your Glock pistol as well. 


Sunday August 9 (9 AM - 5 PM) 1911 Pistol Maintenance Course - $160
This course is designed to give you the basic skills and knowledge to maintain and keep your 1911 style pistol. You will learn how to properly break down your 1911 pistol, examine parts for wear and potential failure, clean and reassemble. We will discuss the operation of the 1911 style pistol, some common problems you may encounter, and how to fix them. We will discuss how to perform a safety test on your 1911 and what to do if it fails to pass. We will also look at how you can safely improve the function and action of your 1911 style pistol.


Sunday August 23 (9 AM - 6 PM) AR Maintenance Course - $160

This course will look at basic maintenance and repairs of your AR style rifle. We will break down your AR style rifle, examine parts for wear and potential failure, clean, and reassemble. You will learn how AR type rifles operate, about common AR failures, and how to correct them. We will discuss several aftermarket parts and their value. We will also look at how you can improve the function and action of your AR style rifle.
